Time-lapse video: American Landscapes and the Night Sky
By now you probably know how much I love time-lapse photography.
There's just something about the magic of taking a bunch of still photos and combining them to create a "movie" that has always intrigued me.
Today's video features yet another breath-taking time-lapse featuring the awesome natural beauty of the United States and the glorious heavens above.
As you watch this keep in mind that the camera is remaining stationary as the stars and Milky Way rotate above. That rotation is the result of our planet spinning on its axis as time marches on, one second at a time.
